Job summary

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician for the night shift. The role involves comprehensive sleep studies, electrode application and data analysis, with 36 hours per week on a 12‑hour schedule (Sun–Tue).

A $5,000 sign-on bonus with 24‑month commitment is offered for eligible candidates. Responsibilities include capnography, PAP titration, and monitoring oxygen delivery, under supervision of RPSGT or medical director.

Qualifications

  • Boarded by BRPT or equivalent credentials.
  • Associate degree in polysomnography or completion of a polysomnography program (1 year or more).
  • A-STEP certificate in polysomnography acceptable.
  • Minimum six months as Polysomnographic Trainee.
  • Minimum one year polysomnographic experience preferred.
  • CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Document proficiency in core polysomnography competencies.
  • Prepare patient and apply electrodes/sensors.
  • Perform capnography and PAP titration.
  • Maintain equipment, perform safety checks and cleaning.
  • Monitor Pulse Oximetry during studies.
  • Set up and calibrate polysomnographic montages.
  • Titrate oxygen as needed.
