Qualifications

• California Polysom Technologist License required at hire.
• NRPS or NCPT certification required at hire or within qualifications.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS from American Heart Association.
• 1 year of polysomnographic technologist experience; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor polygraph recordings and audiovisual equipment to ensure patient safety and data quality.
• Operate PSG equipment and explain procedures to patients before tests.
• Prepare patients and apply recording devices for sleep studies.
• Ensure accurate sleep/wake data and note other physiological events.
• Collaborate with the team while performing studies independently.
