Job summary

Boise Cascade is hiring a Production Associate in Chester for evening or night shifts with rotating schedules. You will support machine operators and learn to run the green end, dryer, layup, and saw lines while contributing to a safe, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• 2 Years Manufacturing Experience or High School Diploma / GED.
• Six months in farming, landscaping, carpentry, mechanical, construction, warehouse, military, production or manufacturing.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work any shift, holidays, weekends, overtime.
• Able to work in hot, cold, dusty environments with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work environment by cleaning debris around machines using blowers, shovels, and pitch forks.
• Cover breaks and vacations as relief operator.
• Follow plant safety and environmental guidelines and report hazards.
• Assist team members in plywood and veneer production as needed.
