Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Operators for the Prosperity Plywood facility. You will pull and assemble veneer cores, operate production equipment, and assist in cleanup and maintenance while following strict safety guidelines. Night shift opportunities include overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Training orientation will precede a permanent shift assignment. Two years of manufacturing experience and forklift operation are preferred; experience with wood products is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience driving and operating a forklift.
• Experience working in wood products.

Responsibilities

• Pull and lift plywood, panels, or scraps up to 25 pounds.
• Assemble veneer cores by layering sheets per patterns and project requirements.
• Assist in operation, cleanup and maintenance of production equipment including forklift operation.
• Follow plant safety and environmental guidelines and wear safety equipment.
• Read and comprehend written instructions to complete tasks.
