Job summary

Ultrapoly in Portland, PA is seeking a full-time night-shift Plastics Quality Control (QC) Technician to perform tests on finished compounds and plastic raw materials, supporting the manufacture of high-quality plastic products. You will operate testing and processing equipment per internal procedures and collaborate with all manufacturing departments.

The role requires adherence to safety and QA standards, detailed logkeeping, and reading procedures.

Qualifications

• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency
• Detail-oriented
• Experience with plastics mechanical testing preferred
• Ability to read and follow manuals/procedures
• Ability to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Follows company policies and procedures
• Operates QA testing/processing equipment
• Maintains QA logs and paperwork
• Collects and evaluates samples for conformance to specs
• Communicates results to QA supervisor and teams
• Interacts with production, packing, and logistics as needed
• Performs troubleshooting and maintenance tasks as required
• Performs raw material testing per internal standards
• Performs other QA/R&D duties as assigned
