Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks in Thomasville, GA is seeking a Night Shift Plasma/CNC Operator to program, set up, and operate plasma tables and related CNC equipment. You will read blueprints, nest parts, and adjust programs to meet safety, quality, and production standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of machine operation experience, a high school diploma or GED, and basic math; on-the-job CNC training is provided. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Program and operate CNC/plasma equipment per blueprints and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and material specs.
• Maintain safety, quality, and 5S/Lean standards.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate the plasma table.
• Nest parts and input material specifications into plasma control computer.
• Troubleshoot and adjust plasma process to meet tolerances.
• Perform basic machine maintenance on plasma/CNC equipment.
• Safely load/unload material and operate overhead crane when required.
