Job summary

CTR Group in West Point, MS, is hiring a CNC Plasma / Burn Table Operator to run plasma cutting equipment and produce precision metal parts per drawings and orders. The role emphasizes safety, quality, throughput, and material efficiency within a ISO/QMS-aligned environment.

The incumbent will set up, program edits, inspect parts, and maintain documentation; prior CNC plasma experience and ability to read drawings are required. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of hands-on CNC plasma cutting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and material certifications.
• Basic math and measurement conversion skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting table per work orders and CAM files.
• Perform in-process inspection for dimensional accuracy.
• Verify material certifications and manage cut parts inventory.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintain 5S clean work area.
• Follow lockout/tagout and wear required PPE.
