Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in utilities, industrial maintenance, facilities operations, or related field.
• Knowledge of boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, pumps, piping, electrical systems, or automation controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, schematics, and equipment drawings.
• Proficiency with tools, diagnostic equipment, and CMMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on plant utility equipment (boilers, HVAC, pumps, piping, water systems, cooling towers).
• Troubleshoot and resolve utility equipment issues to maintain safe, reliable operation.
• Carry out maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydronic, and rotating equipment; ensure proper operation of steam, chilled water, potable water, wastewater and compressed air systems.
• Respond to alarms and malfunctions; diagnose failures and implement corrective actions.
• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping; modify processes to improve reliability and efficiency.
