Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a hands-on operator to run and monitor plant equipment for high-quality sand and gravel production. You will inspect, maintain, and repair basic components, while ensuring safe, efficient material flow and reliable plant operations with the team.

Eligible candidates will have a strong safety mindset, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Starting pay is $24.00 per hour DOE and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

• Mechanical aptitude for inspections and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment to safely produce high-quality sand and gravel products.
• Perform routine inspections and assist with basic maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor material flow, conveyors, screens, crushers, and other processing equipment to support production.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas while following safety and environmental procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain safe plant operations.
