Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Plant Operator to support surface operations at their Randolph, Missouri underground mine. This role involves assisting with plant clean-up, training Plant Operator I, and controlling equipment in a fully automated rock crushing plant.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid US driver's license.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
• High school diploma or GED is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with plant clean-up and support for surface crushing operations.
• Train and back-up Plant Operator I.
• Operate haul truck to assist with plant operations.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Monitor processes, materials, and surroundings.

Skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Knowledge of MSHA regulations

Effective written and verbal communication

Knowledge of machines and tools

Education

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

1+ years of related experience

Valid US driver's license
