Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a night shift Plant Operator for operations at the Randolph Mine in Missouri. This role includes assisting with plant clean-up and supporting surface crushing operations, acting as a back-up to the Plant Operator I by managing equipment in a fully automated plant.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, relevant experience, and a valid US driver’s license. Strong communication and the ability to work independently are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in related field needed.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and trainings.
• Operate skid steer to assist with clean-up.
• Train and provide back-up for Plant Operator I.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear.
• Monitor production processes and materials.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy equipment.

Skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Knowledge of MSHA regulations

Effective written and verbal communication

Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance

Education

High school diploma, GED or equivalent

1+ years of related experience

Valid US driver’s license

Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred

MS Office and other computer skills preferred
