Job summary

Energizer Holdings, Inc. in Asheboro, NC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our 24/7 manufacturing team.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and improve mechanical and electrical systems, following safety and quality standards to keep equipment running smoothly. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus 3+ years in manufacturing or 5+ years with no certifications, and welding, rigging, pumps, pneumatics, or alignment certificates are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with progressive maintenance experience.
• Certifications in welding, rigging, pumps, pneumatics, alignment, etc. and 3+ years in manufacturing; or 5+ years if no certifications.
• Skilled in using general shop equipment (pneumatic valves, hydraulic systems, motors and control systems, and sensing devices).
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
• Welding, fabricating & machining experience.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical/equipment breakdowns.
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders.
• Disassemble and install new machines, condition monitoring sensors, and other equipment.
• Install, assemble, and test machines and equipment.
• Use a variety of tools to complete repairs, installations, adjustments, and part replacements.
• Work from established procedures and/or verbal instructions.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspect machines for malfunctions.
