Martin Marietta is seeking a Lead Plant Maintenance for the Night Shift at our Columbia West Quarry in Columbia, MO. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and keeping heavy equipment up and running to support production.

You will disassemble and repair machines, inspect equipment, lubricate parts, and collaborate with the maintenance team. A high school diploma with 4+ years of related experience and knowledge of MSHA standards are required; valid US driver’s license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years related experience.
• Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow MSHA regulations.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Participate in safety programs and training.
• Disassemble machines and remove parts for repairs using hand tools, chain falls, jacks or hoists.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear.
• Collaborate with team to repair moving machine parts and transport materials.
• Lubricate machines and parts according to standards.
• Tend to conveyors to move materials through production processes.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Perform welding and fabrication activities as needed.
• Work in a team environment and keep areas clean.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed.
