Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Lead Plant Maintenance Night Shift at our Columbia West Quarry in Columbia, MO. This role involves disassembling machines, inspecting equipment for wear, repairing moving machine parts, lubricating components, and maintaining conveyors and heavy mobile equipment.

You will participate in safety programs, follow MSHA regulations, and work with a team to ensure reliable production operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
4+ years related experience, heavy equipment operations or military preferred.
Previous maintenance experience preferred.
Valid US driver's license required.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of MSHA regulations and machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

Disassemble machines and remove parts for repairs using hand tools, chain falls, jacks or hoists.
Inspect equipment for signs of wear and tear; repair moving machine parts as needed.
Lubricate machines and conveyors; maintain equipment in production areas.
Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment and welding/fabrication as needed.
Work in a team environment; follow safety programs and PPE requirements.
Notify supervisors of repairs needed and maintain clean work areas.
