Job summary
Mactac North America is seeking an Electrician for our Scranton, PA plant to perform general repairs, troubleshooting, and upgrades essential to plant operations on the third shift. You will support the Maintenance Manager and help ensure reliable electrical systems across the facility.
The role requires strong PLC experience, ability to read schematics, and a track record of reducing downtime through proactive maintenance and teamwork. Opportunities exist to implement efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of five years experience in technology fields with PLC experience.
- Must read/develop electrical control schematics.
- Ability to layout, bend and install electrical conduit.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate machine installation, wiring and maintenance.
- Perform Preventative and Predictive Maintenance activities.
- Support maintenance group in developing proactive maintenance practices.
- Repair and troubleshoot equipment and machinery.
- Upgrade equipment to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency.
