Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Pipe Yard Picker in Upper Marlboro, MD, to prepare pipe orders for customer requests in an outdoor yard setting. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and physical capability in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities include picking, banding, and loading pipe, operating a diesel forklift, and maintaining yard organization. Eligible candidates should have forklift experience and be able to work 4PM–1AM, with a 50 lb lifting requirement.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience operating a diesel forklift.
• Able to work 4PM – 1AM Monday - Friday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare pipe orders accurately and efficiently.
• Band and bundle pipe for secure transport.
