Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lakeway is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Intensivist team for a nights-only schedule (7 PM–7 AM). The role features a manageable ICU patient load, strong physician collaboration, and autonomy in a high-quality critical care environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in acute or critical care, solid clinical judgment, and comfort working in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care or critical care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making ability.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensivist-guided care in the ICU and monitor patient progression.
• Work autonomously alongside an established ICU team to ensure quality care.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for charting and care coordination in a nights-only schedule.
