Job summary
UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to cover night shifts from 9:30pm to 6:00am, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends/holidays. You will collect venipuncture samples, label specimens, and ensure timely processing while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy training (preferred/required for some positions), and basic computer skills.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy training program completion preferred or required for certain positions.
- Basic computer skills and MS Office knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Transports hazardous waste and follows safety policies.
- Performs venipuncture and microtainer collection.
- Keeps specimens properly labeled and orders received correctly.
- Supports leadership with daily workload and problem resolution.
- Rotates weekends and holidays; night shift duties.
