Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tyler, TX is seeking a night shift, full-time Phlebotomist to join our hospital laboratory team. The Phlebotomist will perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and urine collection guidance, following standard specimen handling and culture collection procedures.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited phlebotomy program with clinicals, and national certification (NHA CPT, ASCP PBT, AMT RPT, NCCT NCPT, or ACA CPT).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals.
• Certification from nationally recognized agency: CPT (NHA), PBT (ASCP), RPT (AMT), NCPT (NCCT), or CPT (ACA).

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Assist with urine collection and specimen culture collection as instructed.
• Follow specimen handling procedures and support the laboratory team.
