Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, seeks a Night Shift Pharmacist to join its inpatient care team. The role involves safely preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications in accordance with NYS Board of Pharmacy and hospital policies.

You will cover satellite pharmacies, manage narcotics, participate in rounds, ensure USP 797 sterile product compliance, and provide drug information to clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or PharmD degree required and NY license.
• Board Certification in relevant area highly desirable.
• Must meet annual safety and OSHA training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, compound, and dispense medications per policy and regulations.
• Assist in narcotic inventory, control, and secure handling.
• Participate in rounds and provide drug information and counseling.
• Verify adult, neonatal, and pediatric IV orders and TPN as needed.
• Ensure sterile product preparation adheres to USP 797 standards.
• Support clinical pharmacy services and participate in training.
