Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair of industrial production and packaging equipment in Davie, FL. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and electrical background with hands‑on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience, preferably in pharmaceutical packaging, and must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic/technician in a packaging or industrial environment (pharmaceutical experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding systems.
• Hands‑on experience with A/DC motors, PLC electronic systems, and machinery installations.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Must be highly resourceful, responsible, and hardworking with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical duties including voltage checks, continuity checks, and replacement of electrical components.
• Disassemble, repair, and replace malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on industrial production and processing machinery.
• Maintain and document preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace conveyor belts, bearings, and electrical motors.
• Assemble and reassemble machinery and equipment using hand tools and pneumatic power tools.
• Request necessary parts and electrical components to keep equipment operational.
• Interpret and follow mechanical diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude toward learning, growth, and adapting to new technologies and processes.
