Job summary

All American Pet Resorts New Bern is hiring an Overnight Kennel Technician. You will care for dogs and cats, feed, medicate, walk, bathe, and supervise play while maintaining a clean, safe facility. Overnight shifts require alertness, reliability, and a passion for animal welfare.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional dog handling experience.
• Ability to recognize normal vs. abnormal dog behaviors.
• Comfort with overnight shifts and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• AM feeding and medications per protocol.
• Last PM and first AM walks for every dog.
• Move cats to play areas as needed and supervise play.
• Provide baths and ensure safety during grooming activities.
• Monitor and report dog behavior and safety concerns.
• Maintain kennel cleanliness and sanitation nightly.
