Job summary

Lutheran Services’ Trinder Park Aged Care in Woodridge is seeking a compassionate Personal Carer for permanent night shifts. You will support residents with daily living activities, ensure comfort and dignity, and work closely with nurses and allied teams to deliver holistic care.

Requirements include Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) and an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Police Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) is required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in a similar role in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in daily living activities with dignity and respect.
• Promote independence and well-being to maintain quality of life.
• Collaborate with nurses, allied health, and support teams to ensure the best experience for residents.
• Assist with mobility and equipment use to ensure resident safety.
• Provide emotional support and a warm, nurturing environment.
• Accurately document care activities in iCare and follow best practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, residents, and families to provide holistic care.
