Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO).
• Post graduate training in residency program.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and related administrative services and participate in academic endeavors.
• Abide by the Dartmouth Health by-laws and code of conduct.
• Review records and detailed medical history from patients.
• Determine diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Order appropriate screening and diagnostic tests.
• Obtain informed consent for procedures.
• Interpret test results and prescribe appropriate therapies.
• Refer to other providers as needed.
• Admissions/discharges when applicable.
• Provide patient and family-centered care and ensure privacy.
• Supervise APPs as directed.
• Participate in CME and quality initiatives.
• Contribute to academic responsibilities and training.
