Job summary

Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH is seeking a physician to supervise and provide medical care within the physician’s specialty for Dartmouth-Hitchcock patients. The role includes night shift coverage and per diem scheduling, with involvement in administrative duties and CME.

Responsibilities include developing diagnoses and treatment plans, reviewing records, and coordinating referrals and admissions as needed. Licensure in NH or eligibility for ABMS Board certification is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with New Hampshire medical licensure or eligible for licensure.
• Completion of residency program in specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative services within specialty.
• Review patient records and histories.
• Determine diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Order appropriate tests and studies.
• Obtain informed consent for procedures.
• Prescribe medications and initiate referrals as needed.
• Supervise APPs as directed.
• Participate in CME and quality initiatives.
• Engage in academic responsibilities assigned by Department Chair.
