Job summary

TCH Medical Center in Texas is hosting a Virtual RN Hiring Event for the Pediatric Float Pool ICU (Nights). The event offers interviews and same-day offers; registration is required to receive Teams details. We are seeking Nightshift Pediatric RNs for our Float Team with 9 months RN experience, Texas BON license, CPR/BLS, and strong communication and critical thinking.

Pediatric experience preferred. Two teams: Flex Team and Critical Care Team, covering ICU and acute care areas.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree with RN license in Texas or current enrollment in BSN/MSN pathway.
• 9 months of professional nursing experience required.
• RN license in Texas or Nurse License Compact.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient/family needs using a structured approach.
• Monitor patient status, adjust plans of care as needed, and communicate changes.
• Participate in rounds and team conferences with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe care.
