Job summary

UPMC Harrisburg’s Pediatrics/PICU is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the night shift team. The Professional Staff Nurse provides nursing care, exercises independent judgment, and collaborates with physicians and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, teaching, and care coordination in a dynamic pediatric setting. Experience ranges from 0–2 years with a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in PA or compact privilege according to state licensure rules.
• BSN preferred.
• 0–2 years of nursing experience as baseline.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a hospital care setting.
