Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Nursing-Manager to oversee daily operations, patient flow, staffing assignments, and safe patient care on night shifts. You will lead clinical teams, promote a culture of safety, support professional development, and collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to optimize patient outcomes.

This leadership role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to act as a unit leader in the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of Georgia or multi-state via eNLC
• BSN required
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment or start of clinical shift (ED)
• PALS or PEARS certification within 1 year of employment as required by department
• Professional Nursing certification required after one year of hire

Responsibilities

• Supports environment for delivery of care.
• Acts as clinical resource for patient population in area.
• Maintains competence to provide and/or assist with clinical care.
• Participates in educational process related to delivery of healthcare.
• Maintains own professional development and fosters others' development.
• Leads unit on shift in absence of manager and supports admission/transfer/discharge processes.
