Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PCU – Progressive Care Unit in El Paso, TX. The role involves direct patient care on night shift, with supervision responsibilities and adherence to safety standards.

Required: graduate of an accredited nursing program; 1 year RN experience for PRN status; current license and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. Employment is full-time, with duties across the unit as-needed.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing.
Must have 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, safe, cost-effective nursing care to all patients.
Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
Administer medications safely in accordance with hospital policy.
Support CNO to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care and appropriate resource management.
Perform all HICS responsibilities during emergencies and/or disasters.
Know and follow emergency codes and hospital procedures.
