Job summary

Trinity Health and St Joseph's Health are seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician to join our Syracuse team. The role provides direct patient care during the night shift, supporting Registered Nurses and ensuring patient comfort and safety in a busy clinical setting.

Duties include phlebotomy and EKG, with training provided. A high school diploma is required, and current BLS/CPR certification is expected. The work involves standing, lifting, and a rotation that includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and First Aid training provided upon hire.
• Medical background, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
• Performs tasks that do not require nursing judgements or administration of medications.
• Duties include, but not limited to: Phlebotomy and EKG.
