UPMC Western Maryland's Clinical Resource Team is seeking a Patient & Family Concierge to support patients, families and visitors during a hospital stay. The role involves destination coordination, environmental and dietary service support, patient transport, and telehealth cart management across the hospital.

It is a night shift position with no weekend shifts, offering varied assignments within the hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in secretarial responsibilities.
• Strong commitment to patient and family experience.
• Ability to work night shifts with no weekend shifts.
• Comfort coordinating directions and assisting patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Destination coordination: greet and guide patients and families to destinations while protecting privacy.
• Environmental services: assist with room cleaning, supplies, and maintain clean areas.
• Dietary services: assist with meal delivery and safety standards as needed.
• Transportation: transport patients and equipment between units and departments.
• Telehealth cart retrieval and setup: retrieve and set up telehealth carts for appointments and return after use.
• Supply & equipment management: organize supplies and deliver to units; stock as needed.
• General duties: answer unit phones, monitor call lights, assist patients, maintain infection control and portal navigation.
