Job summary

Sentara Health's Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Patient Care Technician to support admission/discharge and daily care under nurse supervision. You’ll take vitals, assist with bathing, ambulating, blood draws, Foley care, and respond to patient needs.

The role requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and certification options such as CNA/NCMA/NCPCT; previous direct care preferred; competitive base pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have one or more of the listed certifications (CNA/NCMA/NCPCT/etc.).
• Previous direct care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and draw blood as needed.
• Support admission and discharge processes.
• Assist with bathing, ambulating, and daily patient care.
• Provide Foley catheter care and respond to patient needs under supervision.
