Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Third (Night) shift. You will support admission/discharge, perform vital signs, assist with bathing, ambulation, and daily patient needs under nurse supervision.

The role includes blood draws, Foley care, and collaborative teamwork with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care. A high school diploma and applicable certifications are required, with CN A/NCMA/NCPCT or Sentara Care Partner training

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Certification/licensure: CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or Sentara Care Partner graduation preferred
• Emergency/clinical experience via EMR/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic credentials welcome

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and provide basic patient care
• Assist with admission/discharge, bathing, ambulation, and daily needs
• Perform blood draws and Foley catheter care under nurse supervision
