Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the third shift. You will assist with vitals, blood draws, daily patient care, admission/discharge support, and routine tasks under nurse supervision.

Preferred applicants have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and relevant certifications (CNA/NCMA/NCPCT). Direct care experience is a plus in a Magnet-designated hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA/NCMA/NCPCT certifications preferred or required.
• Navy Hospital Corps School and related clinical training valued.
• RB clinical experience within last three years is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and assist with daily patient care.
• Perform blood draws and catheter care under supervision.
• Support admission/discharge processes and patient comfort.
• Assist with bathing, changing, and ambulating patients.
• Work with nurses to meet patient needs and safety.
