Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the night, part-time schedule in Pensacola, FL. You will support movement and positioning of patients, assist with activities of daily living, and document changes for nursing staff.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Prior patient care in hospital settings and open availability are preferred, with comprehensive health benefits and retirement options

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).

Responsibilities

• Aids with movement and placement of patients.
• Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff; documents necessary records.
• Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.
