Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist nurses with patient care tasks at Edward Hospital in Naperville. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with night shifts and rotating holidays/weekends.

CPR certification is required; EMT-B is preferred. Experience with nursing assistant duties or related clinical rotations is expected, along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to follow directions and work in a team.

Qualifications

• CPR certification current (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• EMT-B certification preferred.
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of patient care experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care tasks to ensure comfort and safety of patients.
• Perform patient care procedures as directed to support recovery and well-being.
• Follow established procedures and prioritize duties in a fast-paced clinical environment.
