Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Beverly Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Night shift in the Float Pool. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide basic patient care and assist with daily activities.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with meals, and reporting observations. A High School diploma, ability to read/write, BLS within 90 days, and CNA certification preferred but not required. Pay range $19.50–$26.24 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• CNA certification preferred but not required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Take vital signs and monitor patients.
• Assist with daily activities and personal care.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Record intake/output and assist with basic procedures.
