This role emphasizes teamwork, patient communication, and adherence to safety protocols. Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in acute care or are enrolled in a nursing program; BCLS within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program is acceptable.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire required; CPCT certification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff with delegated patient care tasks to support daily activities.
• Record and report vital signs, intake/output, and other data to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Help with meals, bathing, grooming, and mobility while maintaining dignity.
• Assist with positioning, transfers, and use of mobility aids as directed.
• Collect urine/stool samples and monitor glucose when indicated.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team and maintain infection control.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe environments; follow PPE guidelines.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives and comply with goals and standards.
