Job summary

Lake Granbury Medical Center in Granbury, TX seeks a Patient Care Technician to support RN/LPN staff and provide patient-centered care. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help with meals and mobility to ensure a safe, organized environment.

0–2 years acute care experience or nursing program enrollment is preferred; BCLS within 90 days of hire is required. CNA or CPCT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output, reporting to RN/LPN.
• Support meals, grooming, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Assist with positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Monitor urine/stool samples and glucose via finger sticks; document results.
• Maintain infection control, PPE usage, and effective team communication.
