Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care and maintain a safe environment.
• Collect and record vital signs, intake/output, and report to RN/LPN.
• Support patients with meals, bathing, grooming, and urinary catheter care.
• Assist with mobility and positioning using walkers, canes, wheelchairs.
• Collect urine and stool samples and perform blood glucose monitoring; report results.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team.
• Maintain infection control and PPE protocols.
• Participate in performance improvement and risk management initiatives.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
