Texas Health Plano is hiring a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for Medical Surgical Tele/Neuro/Spine. The role supports nursing staff with basic patient care, mobility, and daily living activities on a 36-hour/week night shift.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; nursing or CNA/EMT training preferred. BCLS and CPI Training within 90 days are required upon hire, with ongoing education and growth opportunities within a leading care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Acute care experience helpful.
• CLIAFE - must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA through NHA/NAHP/NCCT or THR approved program required upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support required prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing direction.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collect and report patient data to nurses.
• Enter orders and document care in systems.
