Texas Health HEB in Bedford, TX is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Observation Unit. This full-time, night shift (7p–7a) position offers 36 hours per week and benefits.

You will support patients per plan of care, assist with admissions and discharges, and help with daily living activities. The unit emphasizes self-scheduling, growth opportunities, and a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on high-quality patient care.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Current TX CNA or PCT training with NHA/NAHP/NCCT or THR approved program.
• Current EMT for TX or military medical training equivalent (EMT-B).
• 1 year of PCT experience or nursing student who has completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program.

Responsabilidades

• Provides assistance to patient according to plan of care.
• Collects patient data and reports significant findings to nurse.
• Assists in admission/transfer/discharge.
• Prepares and revises patient activities of daily living per patient/family preference.
• Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.

Conocimientos

PCT training

CNA/PCT certification
