Job summary

Texas Health HEB, located in Bedford, TX, is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Observation Unit. This full-time night shift (7pm–7am) position offers 36 hours per week and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced, teaching environment.

Responsibilities include assisting patients per care plans, data collection, admissions/discharges, ADLs, documentation, and collaboration with nurses to ensure safe, culturally sensitive care. Benefits include 401k, PTO, and tuition assistance.

• Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
• Enters orders into computer or manual system if applicable.
• Documents accurately and appropriately.
• In collaboration with nurse, adapts care to reflect patient population.
• In collaboration with nurse, incorporates cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care.
• Keeps patient environment clean and maintains safe environment.
• Anticipates patient/family and visitor needs and takes action to meet those needs and rounds as appropriate

What You Will Do
