Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon, OK is seeking a Night Shift, full-time Patient Care Tech to join the Med Surg Unit. You will perform delegated direct patient care tasks under RN supervision and support patient safety and comfort in a busy hospital setting.

Key qualifications include a current BLS certification and able to communicate in English; CNA training or nursing program completion is required or in-progress with structured orientation.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification or completion within 90 days.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Department orientation will cover department-specific competencies.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal patient care tasks (mouth care, beds, baths, perineal care, hair care, shaving, bedpan/urinal emptying).
• Assists with patient safety, fall protocol, and restraints usage; promotes rest and sleep.
• Performs treatments (urinary catheter care, enema prep, sitz baths, compresses) and assists with ambulation.
• May retrieve and transport medications.
