Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the St. Rita's Medical Center Med/Surg Tele unit. This part-time night position runs 7pm-7:30am with a 24-hour weekly schedule.

You will assist with basic patient care, vital signs, hygiene, mobility, and comfort, under RN supervision. Responsibilities include accurate documentation in the EHR, hand-off reporting, and maintaining patient safety. A nursing aide training or STNA/CNA credential and BLS are preferred, with benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Minimum one of nursing aide training, STNA, CNA, or nursing program with clinicals.
• Experience in acute care or long-term care preferred.
• BLS certification preferred; must obtain before direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including vital signs, hygiene, mobility.
• Serve as liaison between patient and nurse.
