Job summary

Texas Health Resources seeks a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Med Surg/Telemetry unit at Plano. You will deliver basic patient care under the nursing staff, assist with ADLs, and support a 22-bed unit with self-scheduling and educational growth opportunities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, TX CNA or PCT training, BCLS, and relevant experience or student status. Night shifts are 12-hour, with weekend/holiday commitments as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• TX CNA or PCT Training required upon hire.
• EMT experience or Nursing student status may be considered.
• BCLS required before independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transfer/transport patients.
• Enter orders into computer or manual systems as applicable.
• Document accurately and communicate with patients and team.
