Mercy is seeking a Patient Care Tech/ CNA-equivalent for primarily weeknights (10pm-6:30am) with some weekend/holiday coverage. The role supports licensed nurses by delivering safe patient care and ensuring clear handoffs.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Health Support Professional program preferred.
• 2 years in a baccalaureate program or nursing track is helpful.
• Experience in patient care settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate accurate information with patients, families, and co-workers during handoffs and as needed.
• Ensure necessary information is communicated to enable the best possible patient outcomes.
• Provide safe and effective patient care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Observe and report patient condition changes to the licensed nurse.
• Communicate with patients effectively, including handling language/cultural barriers.
• Maintain real-time documentation of patient care.
• Protect patient privacy and dignity at all times.
• Respond to emergencies within scope of practice.
• Support changes to improve performance and patient care.
