Job summary

Jefferson Lansdale Hospital is hiring a full-time, night, Patient Care Tech (PCT) to work 3 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotational weekends and holidays. The position supports bedside care and collaborates with nurses and physicians in a large health system.

As part of Jefferson Health, the role includes responsibilities such as documenting patient care, assisting with examinations, and basic respiratory and phlebotomy tasks within acute care settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One year experience in an acute care inpatient environment preferred.
• Nursing Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patient.
• Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets.
• Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed.
