Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech II in Philadelphia to provide direct bedside care and support to physicians. The role requires switching between day and night shifts, with three 12-hour shifts per week and one weekend every third weekend, plus seasonal holiday coverage.

Applicants must have a High School diploma or equivalent, PA PCT/Certified Nursing Assistant or PA EMT, at least 2 years healthcare experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One of: PA PCT, PA CNA or PA EMT.
• Minimum 2 years nursing assistant/healthcare experience; advanced skills training within 6 months of hire accepted in lieu of experience.
• AHA BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside care to patients as assigned.
• Maintain documentation on all patients, including flow sheets.
• Assist physicians with examinations and tests as needed.
