Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. in Philadelphia seeks a Patient Care Tech II to provide direct bedside care, document patient flow sheets, and assist physicians with examinations and tests.

Schedule includes rotating day and night shifts, three 12-hour shifts weekly, every third weekend, and one holiday per season. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, PA CNA or EMT certification, and a minimum of 2 years healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PA PCT, PA CNA or PA EMT certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required.
• Certification and completion of advanced skills and knowledge training within six months of hire accepted in lieu of experience.
• AHA BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct bedside care to patients as directed by the healthcare team.
• Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets.
• Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed.
